This Privacy Policy describes how Revenix Apps (“Revenix Apps,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you install or use the Revenix Cart Upsell application (the “App”) on your Shopify store. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

When you install the App, we collect information necessary to provide the service, which may include:

  • Store information: your Shopify store name, domain, contact email, plan, and locale.
  • Store data via the Shopify API: products, collections, prices, and cart/checkout settings used to power upsells, free shipping bars, and gift rewards.
  • App configuration: the settings you choose for the cart drawer, campaigns, thresholds, and styling.
  • Usage and analytics data: aggregated, non-identifying metrics about how the App is used so we can improve it.

The App does not require us to store the personal data of your individual customers. Cart interactions are processed in the shopper's browser and through Shopify's own infrastructure.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features.
  • Configure and display the cart drawer, upsells, and rewards on your storefront.
  • Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • Monitor performance, detect abuse, and improve our products.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your information. We may share information only with:

  • Shopify, as required for the App to function on the Shopify platform.
  • Service providers (such as hosting and analytics vendors) who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
  • Legal authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights.

4. Data Retention

We retain store and configuration data for as long as the App is installed. When you uninstall the App, we delete or anonymize associated store data within 90 days, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or security purposes.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

7. International Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place to protect your information during such transfers.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by businesses and is not directed to individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
